Purpose and prerequisites
A presentation descriptor for already imported external channels named exactly MCU current and MCU power. The accompanying Joulescope JS320 recorder/import pipeline supplies samples and units; this JSON contains no instrument command or sidecar executable and cannot start acquisition by itself.
Engineering interpretation
The supplied streaming recorder scales amperes/watts by 1000, labels its output mA/mW and emits averaged bins. The domain only groups these channels under Power and preserves producer metadata. Do not assume a different producer uses those units merely from the channel name. Timing alignment and bin width belong to the acquisition/import pipeline. This file provides no current limits, energy integration or automatic findings.
